X ONE

A quantum dot story

X1 is 65” curved TV focused on delivering the best cinematic experience, using an innovative dimming solution that enhances the contrast between the dark and bright areas and a speaker system which is hanging from the bottom of the TV instead of being embedded inside. This solution delivers an outstanding “A” sound quality using less volume. Every detail was carefully conceived to create a long-lasting classic masterpiece. This TV hides every screw and technical component while providing a solution to manage the cables on the back, resulting in a clean, uncluttered all-round design piece.

ASK WHAT YOU LIKE

“How’s the weather in London? What were the Oscar nominated movies in 2017? I want to watch an action movie. ” By using Voice Search, you do not have to look through the complicated navigation bar or do any tiresome typing, you can easily get what you like by just asking.

ALWAYS A GOOD MATCH

Users participate in defining the final outlook of the product to match their own style by changing the front speaker cover. The speaker covers are attached to the TV by magnets; a clean, invisible and easy to use solution.

BEHIND THE SCENE

Below it is captured the critical moments during the development process, ideas that were left behind, concepts, struggles, manufacturing challenges, more iterations, more ideas for new problems. An everlasting process that took me from the initial rough concept to the final solution. The design process is a continuous refinement that is only limited by time and resources
