ENDLESS DESIGN OPTIONS
This TV introduced a new approach where the customers can participate in defining the final outlook of the product. We have developed several front speakers covers, wood, metal, and different kind of fabrics were used to meet different user's needs. Change the front covers can not be easier; a set of magnets located behind the speaker front and covers allow to exchange covers at will.
BEHIND THE SCENE
Below it is captured the critical moments during the development process, ideas that were left behind, concepts, struggles, manufacturing challenges, more iterations, more ideas for new problems. An everlasting process that took me from the initial rough concept to the final solution. The design process is a continuous refinement that is only limited by time and resources
INSIGHTS
We collected insights from users across Asia and Europe. Most of the users, regardless of their geographical location, had similar pain points, complaints, and expectations. The main difference was related to home size, environment, and TV placement. These insights guided our creative process, mostly focused on the sound system, cable management, as well as the rotation issue.
